My shop is located in my two-car garage attached to my home in sleepy St. Cloud, Florida. I have just about every woodworking machine needed in a shop along with the normal assortment of powered hand tools. Plenty of good old hand-powered tools round out the arsenal. Some of my machinery dates back to the 1940's and 1950's.

I have some hand tools that belonged to my great, great grandfather, who died in 1846. I also have some tools that belonged to his son, my great grandfather, who was a patternmaker in Brooklyn, New York from the mid 1800's to well into the 1900's.

My shop is always messy and looks totally disorganized but I know where everything is. I think "Organized Chaos" is a good description of it. There's a garage door in there somewhere.

Here's a work in progress.

And, finally, here is my break area and cleanup area just outside the rear door of the shop.
