My shop is in the basement of our single family home in Sterling, VA. This is the second basement shop I have had and when my wife and I were looking for a home one of the criteria was an unfinished basement for my shop. I have been collecting the tools, etc for a long time. Here is an overview of my shop and my homebuilt lathe... My bench area.... My sharpening station. The waterstones are kept in the drywall bucket... My Delta table saw and WoodTek jointer. I started out with my father 8" Craftsman TS which he got from my uncle. I moved up to a Craftsman 10" when I moved into my first home and two years ago got my Delta... My tool cabinet... The tool cabinet with the doors open. My Gilliom Manufacturing 18" bandsaw... Dust collection, recently upgraded from a Grizzly 2HP bag unit. Upgraded the blower unit with a fan from Oneida and added the cyclone. Just finished installing the duct work.... Wood storage... Supply Storage.... My Ryobi 10" jointer, one of the first real tools I bought. Its about 20 years old and still kicking... and finally the library... More to come...
